Food and drinks are good. The bar is large and suitable for large parties. Service was subpar however. It took almost an hour and a half for the waitress to even take our parties order. She repeatedly came up and would say, I'll get to you in just a minute and would again disappear. She'd come back and repeat it again. After being there for an hour another waitress brought out chips, I asked when our order would be taken and this one told me "I don't know, it's not me." She didn't even bother to try to find the waitress that was serving our section. The only reason I'm giving a 3 is the food and margaritas were good, if this was just based upon service it would have been 1 star. I will not be returning to this particular El Toro restaurant.

Free chips and salsa, American Mexican comfort food, and they use good quality of meat. You pay at the table and they are against fraud and make sure you verify your receipt. The only thing I disliked was the fact that the tortilla chips were NOT corn tortillas they fried and cut themselves but cheap chips they purchased and heated. Especially when they went on about how they made these personally on the menu...u_o. They're still filling and with cheese or sauce you can eat it but it's not the quality you would expect from a restaurant like this. Good service, some nice selections, not a bad guacamole so I'd recommend. Definitely not for authentic cuisine though! Beautiful well-maintained restaurant though with spacey comfortable booth seats you sink into. A bit pricey with cheap chips are my downer though. If they had better quality chips I'd come back more. The salsa is made with real tomatoes and fresh not from a bottle, so that helps.

If you ever want great Mexican food and tasty food, this is the place to go. Happy hour is really great at this establishment and they offer some free munchies like chips and beans. Great place. Thank you.
